On June 26, 2006 Lakeview Cellars announced a new line of Tetra Pak wines called “Out of the Box”. Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits was one of the first Canadian-owned companies to offer wine in Tetra Paks. This initiative is part of the commitment to lead the Canadian wine industry towards reducing packaging waste.
Available in one-litre Tetra Prisma Paks, the Out of the Box line includes four varietals: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc (available through the LCBO and Lakeview Cellars) and a Chardonnay (available directly through Lakeview Cellars).
