Welcome to Birchwood Wines!

We are a small, friendly winery located 2 km (a mile or so!) south of the Beamsville Bench, just north of Lake Ontario and west of Jordan Harbour.

Like our namesake tree, we are not the biggest in the forest, but we pride ourselves on our distinctive personality, our unique style and our very Canadian flavour!

Our wines have won awards in all the major Canadian shows and we were recently awarded the first double-gold in the history of the American Wine Awards.

Small in size but big in heart, we are firm believers in quality over quantity.  doing things as well as we can, and staying true to our friendly reputation.
